President
Brijinder S. Minhas, PhD, ELD, HCLD, MBA brings to Global
Infertility Solutions nineteen years of combined clinical
and business expertise. Operational roles in multisite management, P&L
responsibility, scientific training, clinical embryology practice, laboratory
and research directorships have influenced the development of a unique
multifaceted approach to problem solving. He is actively involved in the
business operations and clinical practice of human embryology at many
major infertility centers worldwide. Dr. Minhas has trained physicians
and embryologists from India, Brazil, England, Pakistan, China, Mexico,
Japan, and Korea, in various aspects of ART.
Board Certified in Embryology and Andrology by the American Board of
Bioanalysis he has published and lectured extensively on the many facets
of mammalian reproduction with a primary focus on the diagnosis and treatment
of male factor infertility. A pioneer in the field of male infertility,
he has performed thousands of micromanipulation procedures to include
PZD, SUZI, ICSI, Assisted Hatching and Embryo Biopsy.
Prior to joining
Global Infertility Solutions Dr. Minhas served
as Regional Scientific Director and Regional Vice President of Operations
for the largest publicly traded national provider of physician practice
and disease management services in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility.
He has served on NIH study sections and is a member of many professional
societies, including ASRM, ABB, College of Reproductive Biology, and
International Embryo Transfer Society. Dr. Minhas brings to Global Infertility Solutions
his vision along with broad based clinical and business expertise necessary
for the delivery of excellent cost effective solutions.
Vice
President of Clinical Services
Barry A. Ripps, MD, FACOG, ACGE brings to Global Infertility
Solutions over a decade of clinical experience in human reproduction.
He is credited with a diverse research experience and is a widely published and respected leader in the fertility
arena. His contributions have significantly enhanced current understanding of
the clinical sequela of endometriosis on gamete function and reproduction.
Dr.
Ripps directs an active practice in Assisted Reproductive Technologies
utilizing clinically effective patient protocols and conventional adjuvant
interventions that are optimizing successes. Expedient management of related
gynecological conditions through office-based and endoscopic procedures are
essential clinical components. Achievement of these and core ART objectives in a cost effective
fashion is an area of distinction for Dr. Ripps.
Membership in the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART) and
Board certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility exemplify his
commitment to quality in assisting infertile couples.

Vice
President, Scientific and Regulatory Services
Michael W. Vernon, PhD, HCLD through participation with Global Infertility
Solutions, offers our clients a cutting edge perspective on SART, CAP, and FDA regulatory guidelines that impact infertility practices. Professor Vernon has designed many ART laboratories and provides our clients with the latest customized specialties to meet their ART needs. Professor Vernon additionally brings to Global Infertility
Solutions decades of scientific and clinical expertise as Vice President of Scientific and Regulatory Services. Dr. Vernon is Professor of Obstetrics& Gynecology and the Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Laboratory at West Virginia ofUniversity. Professor Vernon is the Laboratory Director Representative on the SART Executive Council and an Inspector for CAP. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed papers, abstracts and book chapters, and has given many plenary lectures to scientific societies in the US, Europe, Asia and South America. Professor Vernon is an international authority on “Endometriosis” and is responsible for training many physicians and being a major contributor to our understanding of the pathophysiology of endometriosis. He has co-authored ‘Endometriosis: A Key to Healing through Nutrition’ by Element Books, 1999 and 2002, a much assailed book that addresses the many aspects endometriosis management. Professor Vernon is an ad hoc member and past chair of NIH study sections and is an active member of several societies including, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, (ASRM), the Society for Gynecological Investigation (SGI), the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR), Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) and the International Endometriosis Association (EA).
Amongst his many accomplishments Professor Vernon was part of the first research team in the 1970’s at the Wisconsin Primate Center that successfully performed IVF in the rhesus monkey. Professor Vernon is responsible for the first human babies born in Kentucky through IVF, GIFT, ZIFT, and micromanipulation and embryo cryopreservation.

Jane Rundell, RNC, BSN, brings to Global Infertility
Solutions fifteen years of combined nursing and business expertise in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. A senior healthcare executive with success in national program development, practice management, clinical operations, quality improvement program development, implementation and management, revenue cycle enhancement, contract negotiations with major insurance companies, staff development, patient education program development and facility space planning and build-outs. She has written clinical policy and procedure manuals for infertility practices nationwide. Jane has demonstrated her business acumen numerous times in assisting physicians with practice startups, clinical informatics system design and implementation, as well as practice management system integration. Her efforts have netted practices millions of dollars in savings and additional revenue collections.
Jane Rundell is a certified nurse in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and is an active member of many professional societies, including ASRM, Who’s Who in Executives, Organization of Female Executives, and current President of the Nurses Professional Group (special interest group of over 500 nurses of the ASRM). Jane has spoken both nationally and internationally on practice management in a managed care environment. Before coming to Global Infertility
Solutions, she held a previous position as Senior Vice President for Clinical Services at one of the largest infertility physician practice management groups in the United States.
Having the rare combination of extensive clinical background and business operations in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility provides Jane Rundell with the ability to provide intensive clinical and operational assessments that will net a start-up or existing practice the opportunity to streamline current practices, increase the bottom line, and promote patient satisfaction.

President Financial Affairs
Jim Parker has seventeen years of financial management experience. His
broad cross-functional experience with Information Systems, Operations,
Marketing, and Distribution Channels has allowed him to lead successful
projects for System Implementation, Continuous Quality Improvement as
well as Management Performance Metrics. His strong Strategic Focus has
helped him, and the organizations that he has been involved with, manage
the investment and growth of operational infrastructure, product lines
and entire business units. His broad-based technological and financial
knowledge gives the organization a competitive advantage.
Mr. Parker earned his undergraduate degree in Accountancy from the College
of Charleston and his MBA from Northern Illinois University. He has worked
with Fortune 500 companies in the US and for Large International Firms
in Mexico and Ireland. Mr. Parker brings to Global Infertility
Solutions his extensive experience in financial management that
allows for accurate and in depth financial analyses required for solutions
that will improve profitability.
Shelley Amster, BSMT
Vice President Marketing and Development
Shelley Amster brings to Global Infertility Solutions
extensive experience in international (Latin America, Mexico, Europe) sales and marketing in the infertility
industry. Her expertise in infertility information systems development
and support allows us to provide state of the art data management programs
that are required for accurate data collection necessary for effective
and cost effective decision making. Innovative marketing strategy development
and execution skills along with her implementation of proven customer
satisfaction and training programs are key drivers of profitability for
our clients.
